For massage therapists, physical therapists, estheticians, and wellness coaches
Zencora Academy teaches practitioners to measure wellness and issues a certificate of completion after a teach-back review
Read the science of the vagus nerve, heart rate variability, light, sound, and sleep with each claim carrying its evidence grade. Watch your own heartbeat in the browser. Pass a teach-back review for a Zencora certificate of completion. Running commercial Zencora sessions needs a separate platform-operator authorization, granted only after operator training and applicable regulatory and insurance clearance.
Academy lessons teach measurement and self-regulation for wellness. They are not diagnosis or treatment. The certificate of completion is a Zencora document, not a professional license, continuing-education credit, or medical credential.
Anatomical heart teaching animationIn the free Heartbeat Lab this heart beats at your measured heart rate from a Bluetooth chest strap. It is a teaching animation, not imaging of your heart.

Heartbeat Lab
Connect a Bluetooth chest strap in Chrome or Edge and watch your heart rate, the gap between beats, and a 60-second rMSSD estimate while you breathe with a six-breath-per-minute pacer. A three-minute comparison shows your resting baseline beside paced breathing. No account, nothing uploaded. A demonstration mode runs in any browser. Live-strap mode is a beta that Zencora has parser-tested but not yet verified with a physical strap.
Chapters 1 and 2 of Evidence Literacy, The Vagus Nerve and HRV, and Light and Mitochondria are readable in full. Each is written for a practitioner explaining the mechanism at the chair, with the evidence grade stated in the text.
Modules: three reading editions for sale, eight specified but not scheduled
Each reading edition is a complete manuscript of eight or nine chapters written for the chair. It has passed Zencora's structural checks but not yet claim-by-claim scientific verification or independent review, so it is sold as reading access only and does not count toward a certificate. The eight other modules have specifications and no schedule; further authoring follows the first paid cohort.
Buyers of a reading edition receive the verified revision when it is released. Specified modules are not for sale and carry no price.

What the certificate of completion means and does not mean
Passing the teach-back review earns a Zencora certificate of completion. It shows that you can explain each mechanism at its honest evidence grade, run a paced-breathing session on a live signal, and state what a reading cannot conclude.
It is not a professional license, not continuing-education credit, not a medical credential, and not a platform-operator authorization. Running commercial Zencora sessions requires that separate authorization, granted only after operator training and written regulatory and insurance clearance for the practitioner's profession and jurisdiction. Every practitioner works inside their own profession's scope. A practitioner who presents a grade C mechanism as fact does not pass.
Step 1Read the three modules. Chapters 1 and 2 of each are open now; the verified editions arrive with your access link.
Step 2Once live-strap mode is verified, run three Heartbeat Lab sessions on your own signal and log the baseline and paced values from each.
Step 3Book a 20-minute recorded teach-back: explain the vagus nerve, HRV, and one light claim at their honest grades.
Step 4Receive the certificate by email. When the directory opens, your listing shows location and modules.
Directory
Practitioner directory: who will be listed and when it opens
Who is listed
Practitioners who pass the Foundations teach-back become eligible for a listing with their name, profession, city, and completed modules. No directory traffic or referrals are available or promised today; a referral mechanism will be described here when one exists.
Listed practitioners today: none. The directory is not yet open, and no opening date is set. When it opens, Founding Operator Lab members appear in a marked founding group at the top, alphabetically; other Foundations graduates follow, alphabetically.
How a listing is earned and kept
Pass the teach-back review at the honest evidence grade for every mechanism.
Keep your own profession's license or scope in good standing, where one applies.
Use the Zencora guest report as the only claim surface with clients. No free-text medical claims.
A listing is revocable if a practitioner makes diagnosis or treatment claims from Academy material.
Packages
Packages that combine a station and training
Retrofit the massage table you already own, or add a complete station, and enroll the people who will run it. Each package shows its one-time total and the required network subscription per station per month.
Room layouts, the guest experience, and a monthly session revenue projection for each station are on the Zencora Spa Station Configurator. The network subscription is per station per month beginning at installation; it includes the free Academy lessons, not the paid reading editions or the track.
Measurement
What a measured session records
Heart rate, rMSSD, and movement across one research sessionActual chart from a Zencora research session. The shaded regions mark a pre period and a stimulation period. Heart rate is in beats per minute, rMSSD in milliseconds, movement as accelerometer standard deviation. This is process proof of what the platform records, not evidence that a session treats anything.
Why the Academy uses within-person measurements
A client who reads about the vagus nerve learns a word. A client who watches their own beat-to-beat intervals while following a slow-breathing pacer sees what their own timing does during the practice, and can repeat the practice at home. The Academy teaches you to run that moment, label its source honestly, say what a short comparison cannot prove, and compare it to the same person's earlier sessions rather than to a population number.
The same discipline runs through the rest of the Zencora platform: skin captured under controlled light and compared over months, sleep and recovery signals read as within-person trends, and every report carrying the grade of the claim it makes.
Evidence grades
Evidence grades used in every module
Every mechanism a practitioner learns carries a grade from Zencora's internal biomarker map. The grade decides what you may say at the chair.
Grade A
Well established
Robustly replicated and directly measurable. State it plainly.
Grade B
Promising with variability
Direction is dependable; size or durability varies. Say both halves.
Grade C
Research grade
A signal worth tracking that has not earned a claim. Track it, do not promise it.
Grade D
Unsupported by measurement
Tradition or marketing without measured support. Teach it as history, never as mechanism.

What a practitioner may say
What a practitioner may not say
Five-minute ECG rMSSD as an index of vagal activity
A
Five-minute ECG rMSSD is a well-established index of cardiac vagal activity and recovery state when measurement conditions are controlled.
Slow paced breathing can increase heart-rate oscillation and support self-regulation; durable outcomes vary.
"Resets the vagus nerve." "Treats anxiety."
Before-and-after autonomic response
A
Shows a before-and-after autonomic response without proving what caused it or that healing occurred.
Any statement that the session healed or treated a condition.
Glymphatic clearance during sleep
C
Tracks recovery signals associated with restorative brain processes.
"Measures glymphatic function." "Detoxes the brain."
