Teach-back review: what is asked, how it is graded, and how to book
A 20-minute recorded video call with one Zencora reviewer. You explain three mechanisms at their honest evidence grades, as you would to a client at the chair. The rubric below is the whole standard; nothing hidden is scored. Passing earns the Zencora certificate of completion. It is not a license, not continuing-education credit, and not a platform-operator authorization.
The three prompts you answer
Prompt 1
The vagus nerve
Explain what the vagus nerve is and does, in plain words a client can repeat, and say what a wellness practitioner may and may not claim about it.
Prompt 2
Heart rate variability and rMSSD
Explain what rMSSD measures, which statement about it carries grade A and under what conditions, and what a 60-second consumer-strap estimate can and cannot conclude.
Prompt 3
One light claim of your choice
Pick one red or near-infrared light claim from the Light module, state its grade, and give the safe wording and the wording you would refuse to use.
How each answer is graded
The five parts a passing answer contains
Mechanism: what happens in the body, stated at the level the module teaches, without invented detail.
Grade: the evidence grade (A, B, C, or D) for the claim you made, matching the module's evidence ledger.
Measurement: what reading, under what conditions, would show the effect, and what the Zencora reading actually is.
Next action: what you would have the client do next, inside your own scope of practice.
Cannot-conclude line: one sentence stating what the reading or the mechanism cannot show.
Pass, retake, and review rules
Each prompt is marked pass or retake on the five parts above. All three prompts must pass.
A single overclaim, meaning a mechanism presented above its evidence grade or a diagnosis, treatment, or cure claim, is a retake for that prompt, not a lost point.
One retake of the failed prompts is included in the track, after targeted reading. A second failure goes to a written review with a named reviewer rather than unlimited retries.
Saying "I don't know, and here is who would" is a passing answer to any question outside the module.
You receive the written result, with the reviewer's notes per prompt, by email. The certificate follows a pass.
What to do before the review
Read the three reading editions of the track: Evidence Literacy, the Vagus Nerve and HRV, and Light. Chapters 1 and 2 of each are open now; the rest arrive with your access link.
Run three Heartbeat Lab sessions on your own signal and keep the baseline and paced rMSSD values from each. The demonstration does not count.
Have a quiet room and a camera. The call is recorded only with your consent, given at the start of the call; a review without a recording is still graded but cannot be appealed.
Booking is open to enrolled Practitioner Foundations track members and to anyone who wants to try the review before enrolling; the certificate is issued only to track members who have read the three editions.
